About
Paula DeBoles-Johnson, MPA, CCM is a dedicated public servant and community leader with over three decades of experience in Florida’s capital. She earned both her bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Florida A&M University. In her professional career she focuses on enhancing workforce development and organizational performance, while her passion for serving others is demonstrated through her nonprofit work. Throughout her career, Paula has been committed to addressing key issues such as academic access and success, economic development and crime reduction, believing that strategic partnerships, education and economic initiatives can simultaneously tackle multiple community challenges.
Paula is deeply involved in several nonprofit organizations in Tallahassee, including the CCYDC, which she founded more than twenty years ago. Her extensive community service and leadership efforts have been recognized nationally. In 2022, she ran for political office, which is the inspiration for her latest release. NERVE is an essential guide for aspiring politicians and others seeking to advance their social activism, offering invaluable insights into the intricacies of political campaigns and public service.
